Microphone Access (RECORD_AUDIO)

Polybre requests microphone permission solely for the speaking exercises feature. When you complete a speaking exercise, the app uses your device's built-in speech recognition to convert your spoken answer to text.

• All speech-to-text processing is performed locally on your device.
• Audio recordings are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
• No audio data is stored, saved, or logged by the app.
• Microphone access is only active during a speaking exercise and only while you are actively recording your answer.
• You can deny microphone permission at any time. Speaking exercises will simply be skipped if permission is not granted.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and improve the language learning experience.
• Sync your learning progress across devices.
• Display leaderboards and community features.
• Send important service-related notifications.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• When required by law or legal process.
• With service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., hosting), bound by confidentiality agreements.

Data Storage and Security
